I took this picture in the summer of 2009. The Minolta Tower has towered over the brink of the Canadian Horseshoe Falls at Niagara swince 1962. It was the first observation tower overlooking Niagara Falls.
They put them in the water, a couple of weeks later than usual this year because of the gawd awful longer-then-normal, cold winter. Did I overstate the weather. I think not. It was a dreary, cold, snow filled winter and a rainy umbrella carrying spring. But the beautiful weather is here now. Nice to see the tourists flocking to Niagara.
