Site Info

As a licensed tour guide for the Niagara region, and living here provides me with a unique perspective of what visitors to Niagara feel and see. So acting upon their comments, and the pictures that they take to provide memories for years to come, I have created this blog. It features Images from Niagara which are constantly being added to the site.

The site is not a corporate or tourist promotion for Niagara Falls, it reflects my passion for the area. However it does cost money to maintain, and the only way I earn for the site is through various affiliations that you will find here. For instance, if you decide to take a tour, with me or one of the other tour companies, I do receive a small commission. So please book through this site if you find the tour you would like to take.

I have been asked which cameras I use to take pictures of Niagara Falls and area. So here goes.

A Sony Alpha-300, an Olympus Evolt-500 and a Fujifilm 8.2 Pixel pocket camera. I also take film pictures every once in a while using a Minolta XD-5. For lenses I have a myriad of Minolta MC/MD. I also have a Sony 50mm F/1.4, a Beercan and a couple of zooms. For telephoto I use a Vivitar 150-410mm (manual), a Tamron 80-210 (manual) and a Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 DG Macro HSM II Auto Focus Telephoto that I use for indoor sports too.

In most respects, many of the pictures taken for this site reflect the same approach and equipment that tourists use when visiting Niagara Falls.
